Let us all take a moment out of our privileged lives to accept the hardship straight people have to face on a daily basis. 

I applaud you all, from the bottom of my glitter-filled heart; I couldn't imagine all of the acceptance, freedom, and social security you have to sludge through day by day since the dawn of time and it's about time that you got your chance to shine- don't you think?

This would be a day to put your feet up, you fellas need some space from all of that manly football you've been playing and ladies, I'm sure your partner will give you a break from the kitchen just for today because, like us, you're a social minority too that nobody really seems to regard, you're just more widely accepted.

Why don't you watch yourselves on TV or in a movie where the general consensus of your relationship has been recreated literally millions of times- but don't worry about us; we have Kurt from Glee and Jack from Will and Grace to keep us going for years.

If you don't know what to do on this glorious day, you can go on a walk, hand-in-hand with your partner unafraid to get ridiculed or assaulted; or maybe you could go to work, a place YOU definitely won't get fired from because of who you love. Which, quite frankly, has nothing to do with your business anyway.

The sheer detail in your efforts to force us into a hetero-normative society is admirable. Really. Keep up the good work, some kids find it hard to come out to the people closest to them because of the handful of stereotypes you show on the media and we should commend you for that - fantastic work.

Anyway, don't let me take up anymore of your time- just need to pray for my unnatoned sins anyway.
